Civil Division entails magistrate appeals, lawsuits against individuals, corporations and/or organizations (such as medical malpractice, motor vehicle, premise liability, and slip and fall), unpaid school taxes, unpaid state and federal taxes, passport processing, custody, and divorce matters.

• Mandatory electronic filing for all new and existing Civil and Family Court cases

• Uses Odyssey Navigator as file management system and Odyssey File and Serve (OFS) as electronic filing system

• Accepts legal pleadings solely electronically by having users participate in the Odyssey File and Serve system or by providing the pleading in paper at the counter and converting the paper to an electronic version

• Payments taken in the form of cash, check, money order, and credit card
